The Chaves Knives Redencion 229 is the largest iteration of the the Redencion design. This full-sized EDC folder brings Ramon Chaves’ legendary designs to life with premium grade materials at an attainable price point. The Redencion 229’s overbuilt design is complimented by its titanium frame and black micarta inlays on both sides. This knife includes the signature Chaves skull pocket clip as well as a standard titanium pocket clip. The titanium construction works to keep the Redencion 229 as tough as it is lightweight, all while remaining comfortable in your hand.
Along with its top-of-the-line quality materials and design, the Redencion 229 features the Lee Williams Kickstop flipper tab. Unlike most flipper knives, the Kickstop flipper tab isn’t a part of the blade’s tang. Instead, the tab is attached to the frame by a separate pin. This means when you open the blade, the flipper tab rotates on its pin and conceals itself within the knife’s handle. Not only does this keep the knife looking sleek, but it allows you greater flexibility in handling the knife as you put it to work.
